The changing of seasons is always demanding on the body, as it adapts to the change in temperature, moisture, allergies, etc. Feeding your body much-needed nutrients and vitamins can help prevent sickness. I have a quick and easy recipe that shows you how to make some delicious gummies that can help your body fight against potential cold and flu symptoms. The gummy recipe I wanted to show you also have Turmeric in them to add inflammation-fighting to the host of benefits. ***This pre-made juice can also help you fight against cold and flu symptoms*** You may be thinking, eww gross, Turmeric in gummies, this can’t taste good. But the carrots and orange juice really soften the Turmeric flavor a fair bit. These simple Do It Yourself instructions along with all the natural benefits of the Orange Juice (vitamin C, fiber), carrots (vitamins, fiber), Turmeric (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory) makes for a great immune booster. I’ve sent this recipe to my mom and she uses it to aid her joint pain and swelling in her feet. She has worked on her feet for many years, she has trouble sleeping due to the swelling and pain. Along with these >>>TURMERIC CURCUMIN CAPSULES<<< she takes, these gummies have alleviated some of her aches and pains. So, without further ado, enjoy the recipe: Ingredients: DIRECTIONS:
• 1 cup natural orange juice
• ½ cup really hot water
• ¼ cup quality natural gelatin
• 2 tablespoons golden paste OR 1.5 tablespoons ground turmeric
• You’ll also need to have silicone molds or a coconut oil greased glass dish for pouring your mixture into.
2. Pour into a small saucepan and quickly whisk the ¼ cup gelatin and a ¼ cup of your ingredient mixture. Follow with the hot water, again whisking quickly. As soon as that is dissolved add the remaining ingredient mixture and whisk until combined.
3. Continue whisking in the saucepan over low heat until the mixture is very smooth. Just a moment or two. It is not absolutely necessary to do this step, but I do find it helps to give the gummies a smoother texture. Pour the liquid into your silicone molds or coconut oil greased glass dish. Set the tray in the refrigerator, they should set in about 1 hour. Store in an airtight container. These will keep in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, or you can freeze them.
